Our big project to build custom email blocks to give you a WYSIWYG email builder (if you missed it, read last month’s newsletter) continues and I’ve got some updates for you.

Since my last update, we’ve created 6 blocks from scratch and I’ve made a short video to walk you through them.

Some exciting points to note:

This new way of working gives you a more what you see is what you get experience. No more seeing your theme styling in the newsletter editor.
If you’ve built custom newsletter blocks, we’ll give you a way to filter those in. Don’t worry! 🙂
Mobile controls! 🔥 I can’t begin to say how huge a deal this is. Mobile controls go without saying in email and page builders for years, but Gutenberg has never (and will never) have them. So by building our own blocks, we’ve finally managed to give you mobile controls.
