Having problems with v3? Rollback to v2.3.

If you’re having urgent problems with v3, rollback to v2.3 to restore Newsletter Glue and your site.

We’ve made v2.3 readily available for download in your Account page.

Steps to rollback to v2.3

Step 1. Download v2.3

1.1. Go to My Account.

1.2. Then scroll down till you see the notification with the heading “Having problems with v3? Rollback to v2.3″.

1.3. Then click on the button “Download v2.3“.

Step 2. Deactivate v3 on your site

2.1. In your WordPress admin, go to your Plugins page and look for Newsletter Glue Pro. Then click on Deactivate directly under it.

Even though Newsletter Glue is deactivated, your newsletters, templates and settings are stored.

So that when you activate v2.3, your previous data will be restored, and you will be able to continue using Newsletter Glue as usual, without any additional effort on your part.

Step 3. Install and activate v2.3 onto your site

2.1. In your Plugins page, click on Add new plugin.

2.2. Click on Upload Plugin.

2.3. Choose the v2.3 zip file that you’ve just downloaded in your Account page, by following from Step 1 above.

2.4. Click Install Now.

2.5. You’ll see a new screen saying “Installing plugin from uploaded file… Click on Activate Plugin.

Step 4. Continue using Newsletter Glue and submit a support ticket

Once you’ve restored NG v2.3, you should be able to continue using Newsletter Glue and send out your newsletter on schedule.

When you have the time, please submit a support ticket to let us know what issue you encountered with NG v3 and the steps to replicate it.

This will allow us to investigate and permanently fix the issue for you, so that you can use v3 in the future.
