How to connect Klaviyo to Newsletter Glue

Pre-requisites

  • Klaviyo account
  • Newsletter Glue plugin and license
  • WordPress site

Integrate during Newsletter Glue onboarding

Step 1: Get your API key details

  1. Go to Klaviyo Dashboard, click on Profile Menu -> Settings
  2. On the Settings Page, click Settings -> API Keys
  3. Click on the Create Private API Key button.
  4. Enter a Private API Key Name then Select an access level. If you are not sure about which access level you need, click on Full Access Key and the click on Create button. If you do not want to grant full access, then click on Custom Key option and choose scopes based on your need.
  5. For the Newsletter Glue, at least
    • Accounts: Read Access
    • Campaigns: Full Access
    • Lists: Read Access
    • Templates: Full Access
    • Campaigns: Full Access
    • Profiles: Full Access.
  6. Click on the copy button to copy the created Private API Key.

Step 2: Connect Klaviyo to Newsletter Glue

After activating the Newsletter Glue plugin, you’ll be taken to our onboarding wizard.
Enter your license key in Step 1.
In Step 2:

  1. Select Klaviyo from the Email service provider options
  2. Paste your API Key
  3. Click on Connect button
  4. Once successfully connected, you’ll be able to select your email defaults, complete your onboarding and begin using Newsletter Glue to build and publish newsletters.

Integrate from Settings -> Connections

Step 1: Get your API key details

  1. Go to Klaviyo Dashboard, click on Profile Menu -> Settings
  2. On the Settings Page, click Settings -> API Keys
  3. Click on the Create Private API Key button.
  4. Enter a Private API Key Name then Select an access level. If you are not sure about which access level you need, click on Full Access Key and the click on Create button. If you do not want to grant full access, then click on Custom Key option and choose scopes based on your need.
  5. For the Newsletter Glue, at least
    • Accounts: Read Access
    • Campaigns: Full Access
    • Lists: Read Access
    • Templates: Full Access
    • Campaigns: Full Access
    • Profiles: Full Access.
  6. Click on the copy button to copy the created Private API Key.

Step 2: Connect Klaviyo to Newsletter Glue

  1. On your WP Dashboard, go to the Newsletter Glue Settings page
  2. On the Connections tab, set as follows:
  3. Select Klaviyo from the Email service provider dropdown
  4. Paste your API Key
  5. Click on Connect button
  6. Once successfully connected, you’ll be able to use Newsletter Glue to build and publish newsletters.
